Where is a good place to go with decent snorkelling from the shore?
    Would prefer Spain.

Somewhere with good snorkelling from the shore.

Kimmeridge Bay? Worbarrow? Also in Europe last time I looked…

    Probably not Switzerland or Luxembourg.

Hope this helps (but it probably won’t!)

There are a few nice bays near the France/Spain border in the Med. Various spots all along the Med Coast. Malta is nice, too. If you are willing to go slightly further then Egypt is the place to be. The Snorkelling on Sinai is some of the best in the world. Go to Dahab then wade in anywhere into the clear, warm, fish filled water.

Atlantera / Playa de los Alemanos on the Costa del la Luz is my favorite. Drops off into deep water very quickly with submerged rocky reefs and the like.

Lots of other places around there as well like Bolonia, Roche, Canos de Meca, Zahora.

Its not world class snorkeling (Maldives, Red sea etc) but you get small shoals and the odd octopus.

    Nice XC around there too.
