We are buying (hopefully) a house in a smoke free zone. Woodburner in the dining room expected to comply (as whole house was refurbished in the last 6 years) and the vendor has a massive pile of logs which we are getting with the house. Sitting room has an open fire (again installed in the last 6 years). What is the best smokeless fuel in this case? We have only had an open fire in the formerly industrial NE before, where we could chuck as much coal on as we wanted (though I absolutely hated the coal dust all over the furniture)!

Homefire ovals – about £48/100kg – you’ll still get the dust though 🙂

Sounds like you would be better off entering the 20th century and using some central heating! 😆
