Evening all, my Spesh pro MTB shoes reek of cat wee (it’s not cat wee but it smells like it).

Whilst my feet aren’t fragrant by any stretch of the imagination it’s only these shoes that whiff, possibly due to the shiny linings of the shoes trapping moisture within the sides of the shoes.

I vaguely recall some talk of a wetsuit cleaner/disinfectant being mentioned on Snowheads re cat pee pong in ski boots, might this work and if so what’s it called?

    Thanks in advance 🙂

Bicarb of Soda works an absolute treat. Sprinkle liberally and leave to dry.

Dry outside in the sun if/when you can; the uns rays can help kill the bugs and bacteria.

Does everybody’s riding shoes smell of cat pish?

As above bicarb of soda sprinkled liberally and left overnight a few times sorts it
