Bit of a strange one perhaps but can anyone else smell when the seasons change? Don’t know how to explain, it’s just a subtle change in the air, but I can definitely sense it.

Does anyone on here know what I’m talking about?

    Yep.
Lots of theory about fungal spores in the air, plants rotting or growing etc, especially at change of seasons has been relayed to me recently.
    I buy it.

Yes. Most especially on midnight dog walks. Night air accentuates the scents coming from trees, ploughed fields etc. The increased moisture underfoot and emenating from plants likely helps. I frequently take the dog out to the woods in the small hours, just to sniff stuff!

Of course, nice isn’t it. That’s one of the best things about off road riding, takes me back to being a kid when you’re constantly rolling around in mud and leaves, and falling out of trees.
