    upgrading my brakes but im in a pickle as to go for the xt's or the slx's.ribble have the slx for £52 or the xt for £64.what to do,

    Neither will make you ride better/enjoy the ride more unless you let it.

    XT is worth £12 more in my opinion.

    mrcrusher it was prob me that started it.i just wana make sure i make the right decision.
    decision made.went for the xt's.get delivered tomorrow,only bugger is have to shorten the front by 15cm's.

    I've got XT but tbh I'm not convinced SLX is any less good. Feels maybe a wee bit less solid at the lever (as in, the whole lever assembly feels less solid, not talking about braking feel) but otherwise pretty interchangable.
