This comes in 22/36 which is fine for now….but if i get fitter/stronger and want a larger granny ring is it possible to swap the small ring to a 24 or 26 tooth item?

Shimano havent done anything daft like integrate the small ring into the cranks meaning the whole lot has to be thrown away if you want to change have they?

22T ring looks to be standard shimano fitting, 36T ring is (I think) slx specific

aye, you can just get a different granny later on which will give a smoother change between the chainrings but the 22-36 is fine (they wouldnt sell it otherwise).
