  • SLX brakes – mystery piece in box ??

    just got my new SLX brakeset. There is a small black piece in the box that I dont know what its for. There is one for the front and one for the back.
    Can anyone tell me what it is for?
    hopefully the photo link/attachment will work.

    goes on the bolt to stop it unwinding.

    No idea, I never used them, whatever they are.

    Brakes seem fine regardless.
