Poor sloe harvest around here this year. Damson Brandy is where it’s at for me this winter.

No recipe for me just sloes, sugar and gin

wifes auntie made some a xmas or 2 ago…..potent stuff, very moreish.

Damson gin for me. Made 2 gallons this year.

We have it on our official Christmas Ride. Made by my mate and drunk from stirrup cups no less. Last time he asked how I was getting on staying in the singletrack to which I had to reply I was struggling to stay on the road 😉

Ace stuff. Should be mandatory for breakfast on difficult days.

Got some sat under the stairs waiting, trying to put it off for as long as possible.

Sloepain! It’s great

been making it for so long now that we only ever drink 10 year old, ages very very well.

Don’t buy the Gordon’s Sloe Gin, it’s horrible. Nowhere near sweet enough IMO

mmmmm i think it might be time to try this years batch. I still have a litre of the 2011 batch left which just gets better and better everytime I try it.

Mine went manky this year 🙁

Mine didn’t work very well either. It looked good but tasted a bit odd. A bit like calpol but not in a good way.
