À wallet with coins in it is no longer a wallet, it is purse.

Gentlemen keep coins in their pockets, not their purses

I gave up trying to cram loose change into my wallet when I broke the zip on the change pocket on a really nice carbon fibre Oakley wallet. I carry all my loose change, and there can sometimes be a lot, in a little handmade leather drawstring bag. Means I don’t lose significant sums of money through holes in my pockets caused by carrying loads of loose coins and my keys.

I hate carrying change. If I break a note i carry the change loose and stick it in a change purse at home. That rarely leaves the house unless I’m going somewhere where change is necessary (e.g. school fair)

I leave a change purse in the car too, handy for parking machines etc
