    I think I may be being over-cautious but I need to bounce this off a few of the brighter folk on the board.

    So I'm reading and re-reading the EasyJet T&Cs for the flight I'm taking to switch-backs tomo.
    As i read it it looks like the bike bag has a ultimate limit of 32Kg – no more. or it doesn't go on the plane.
    Hold luggage allowance is 20kg
    plus a passenger has a total limit of 50kg – you can't pay more to increase this

    PLUS any baggage OVER a TOTAL weight of 32kg is charged at £10 per KG.

    http://www.easyjet.com/en/book/regulations.html#baggage

    so lets say:
    bike = 12kg
    bag or kit & armour = 20kg

    Thats' the limit – any more and you pay per kg. Am i right????

    & if the bike box weighed in at 15kg you'd pay £150 to take it each way.

    you missed the line at the bottom of the T&C that says bike is exempt from excess baggage – so if you book a bike and a piece of hold luggage you have 50 kgs total and no bag above 32 kgs.
