Right in the middle of a Test yesterday, a Bird decided to toilet all over the windscreen, think it was a Seagull from the size of the ” souvenir ”

My Student didn’t clean the screen with the squirters so, when she got back, it was dried solid.

I wet the screen with some water and scraped it off with the rubber end of a squeegee. I was surprised to see some scratches left in the screen from where the deposit was.

They really are slight but, because I know they are there, they are annoying me so is there anything that can be used to polish it out ?

Next time use an old rag drenched with very hot water. Hold it on for some time and then it will wipe off, no scraping.
Light scratches can be polished out quite easily, though it’s been so long I can’t remember what I used to use, sorry! 😳

Ps. did you fail her? 😆

Nope she passed, the examiner said ” muck for luck “

I knew about the hot water trick on paintwork, but didn’t think the glass would scratch and I had to get going to the next lesson so didn’t have time to get any hot water.
