    Hi,
noticed a slight judder in my rear brake when putting the brake on today – I’ve noticed it before and always assumed it was because the pads needed changing, which does fix it. It’s like a fairly high frequency vibration and can be felt in the lever. I don’t know, but i’d say it feels higher frequency than one vibration every rotation of the wheel. almost similar to ABS on a car 😉 but obviously not quite like that.

symptom can be replicated in the workshop stand if the wheel is spun fast
enough before putting the brake on.
However today I changed the pads, and it seems to have fixed it for now, but noticed the old ones didn’t look worn down enough to need replacing. So i’m a bit suspicious that something else is causing this and don’t know what.
I swapped the back and front rotors round to eliminate that as a possible cause and it’s not that.

the brake is a formula oro K18 with 160mm rotors.

    any possible ideas?

    thanks
