So what wins for use both SS and geared?

    Sirius pipedream with sliding doprouts?
No faff with removing wheel or anything. More parts than a vertical or sliding dropout. Can't really see a downside.

Kinesis Decade Virsa with interchangeable sliding and vertical dropouts?
Looks neater. Needs chain tug to keep position right. Possible hassle with brake caliper when removing wheel/disc?

    any other experiences?

My preference would be vertical dropouts with an EBB. Find track ends a bit of a PITA to take wheel out for punctures or to put bike in car

Sliding dropout a la on one. Never slip, easy to set and work just like normal dropouts.

I agree 100% the track ends are a pita on my simple, the EBB on my old inbred was superb

Track ends are dead simple, light, and can't break. They are a PITA at 3am in the wet and cold if you're trying to line up your brake calliper, otherwise they are fine.

    EBB or sliders for me.
