Anyone had a down bag refurbished?

I’ve got an ME Dewline 300 bag which has seen better days but is still in materially pretty good nick. I used the bag for a mountain marathon at the weekend and felt pretty cold due to down depletion. It’s a lightweight bag so I’m guessing 100g of down would be enough to revitalise it.

    ME recommend these guys:

Any experiences/ideas of costs/turnaround time etc?

    Cheers,

You could try SMG in Musselburgh

Also get a price for refilling from PHD, obviously go for the best quality down for that bag, no point in downgrading it.

    Good shout.

Advantage being I can drop it in rather than having to post it. I’ll call them on Tuesday.

    You used them?

Oh aye – perfect. Door zip was ripped when I lent it to a relative and it’s now better than new 🙂

Nice one. That’ll do for me.
