    Finally got my 631 built and running. Oooh it’s a lovely bike, couple of rides done over the weekend and another planned tonight
    Love the handling on this thing, short chainstays so turns quickly but feels dead stable and the climbing is still much better than my FS

    Is your seatpost clamp facing the wrong way?

    Nice bike.

    Good news;
    – Excellent frame choice
    – You’ve got the right colour forks for that colour, which is more than most people manage.

    Bad news;
    – Non-remote dropper (with nasty red collar)
    – Horrible length steerer + ooodles of spacers
    – Superstar wheels, no no no no no no.

    thanks wwaswas

    @timmys
    ^read above, there’s a reverb going on and i’ve had that dropper for a few happy years of riding.
    Steerer, spacers, stem length and bar width are perfect for me. Goldilocks position after plenty of fagging about

    Well at least get higher rise bars and lose some steerer length 😉

    Lol @wwaswas

    @timmys
    – I find riser bars more aesthetically displeasing than a few spacers. And before anyone starts I do understand the relative benefits of a shorter steerer, I just like this position and this bar. It fits just right.

    I think it looks jolly nice and even more pleased to hear your reasons for not bowing down to fashion and crippling yourself.

    Enjoy 8)

    thanks folks, the pics never do the blueness justice. Lovely looking bike in the flesh.
    I had a brilliant ride last night to beat the sun dropping over marsden. The hardtail kicked the living sh** out of my back on one flagged descent but that was my feeble bodies fault, not the bikes.
    Was tackling steeper, techier, rocky stuff than i would normally do with no problem.
    Silly grin on my face today

    @alcolepone
    nice bike 😉
