Whats the STW massive verdict?

Not heard the whole thing yet, but the clip I did hear sounded ok, but with slightly quiet vocals for the background music.

Adele’s got a lovely voice though.

Sounds like a Bond Theme tune, which is probably a good thing.

Ticks all the boxes. I likee. Looks like they’re going to go retro on the graphics too. Cool!!!

I quite like it, it’s certainly catchy, but I find the performance a bit flat if I’m honest. Last few lines of a bond theme should be belted out, al a Thunderball, Goldfinger, FRWL, Goldeneye, YKMN. I was waiting for a to start really letting go and she didn’t. Missed a trick IMO.

On first hearing, ok does the job but not particularly inspirational. Dame Shirely is still number 1.

I love it, I totally expected to hate it so nice surprise.

I like the clip of train v digger – reminds me of one of my favourite Bond moments in Goldeneye where Bond steals the tank crashes through the wall and then adjusts his tie before driving on! Love it.

Sounds like Adele.. meh. I liked this one that everyone else seemed to hate. It sounds like a bond theme but dirtier.

Not a massive fan of that song….

I don’t get it. Skyfall is one word, like a thing, project or place…in the song she goes on about meeting at Skyfall or Skyfall being where it starts (forgotten the words already) as if it is a place, but then they shoe horn into the chorus ‘when the sky falls’ which doesn’t quite match to me.

And use of the word crumbles just makes me think of apple crumble.

But it’s Adele so the Radio 1 dj’s will be gushing about it, no doubt.

I prefer the Casino Royale song & Tomorrow Never Dies was a good one too.

TND was a great one. I hear Crumb Balls when she sings it and it makes no sense. Why they put the lyrics on the video is beyond me as it really does highlight how dull and generic they are.

This should have been the QoS theme, this is text book bond theme IMO and my god can this lass sing…

When you hear Skyfall as part of the official trailer it comes through really strongly as a Bond theme.
