without the telephone line plugged in?

Mrs FD want to record a film tonight and we are away on holiday so was going to try Sky remote, however we do not have the telephone line plugged in at home, will it still work?

Signals sent via satellite….. Years on and i still think it’s pretty cool.

ive just canceld my sky when i stated the 12 months contract they told me if i canceld after the 12months the sky box would still work and i could keep it. now ive just canceld they tell me the box wont work as a recorder and i can only use it as a free view box?
so does anybody use the sky box after they have canceld subscription does it work?
