I'm off for a daft weekend trip to ski in a couple weeks, problem is I've never skied, (excluding an hour on a dry slope 10yrs ago).

I'm looking at the options for lessons and wonder if anyone can advise what's best.

I'm planning on going to Snozone in Milton Keynes for some lessons next weekend. I've also looked into getting a couple hour lesson while in the alps. I can get a 3hr or full day lesson in the UK for £75 or £150 respectably. Couple hours in the alps will be around £75. I'm thinking a the full day lesson in the UK is the better option and then get to make best use of the limited time in the alps. Obviously I'll have to start out on the beginner slopes and be lucky if I get off them.

    Or, am I bonkers?

    Based in Hemel Hempstead.

Indoor real snow practice a real good idea.
If you need kit worth trying TKMaxx. ( for boarding stuff – not sure about skiing stuff tho)

Deffo get some lessons in the UK before you go

You will see more of the area you are going to and have a lot better time

    Enjoy !!!
