    Looking to go skiing for the first time this winter, and have seen a good deal in Val Cenis. Resort also looks good for beginners which is ideal.

    Anybody with any experience of the place in general?

    Val Cenis is indeed a good place for beginners.

    I went many, many years ago, so its probably changed a little now.

    Smallish resort, down in the maurienne valley, not too well known with the british tour ops so a much more french feel. you’ll get more info over on snowheads
