    Does anyone have experience of skiing in Norway? Hoping to go on a holiday where we can DH ski and ice climb all in the same place so looking for ideas.

    I would have thought somewhere round Rjukan would be good, it always seems to get mentioned over on UKC for ice climbing, seems they have a ski side to it too, assuming it the same Rjukan !!

    a mate of mine did this a few years ago

    i'll try and find out where he went

    the only thing i remember is that he said you'd need a wheelbarrow full of money for every day you spent out there

    for climbing and skiing La Grave, France would be my suggestion. Need to be up on your Hors Piste tho!
