  • Ski/Boot Hire in Italy (Sestriere). Worth pre-booking?

We're off to Sestriere in a couple of weeks (last minute deal).

Not having my own kit, I'm going to have to hire some. I'm an ok skier so fancy some reasonable quality kit.

Has anyone used the online booking companies at all (best-price-ski-rental.com for example). The saving doesn't seem great and we get there at a decent time on the first day so maybe it would be better to just wait and see what's there?

I used to always rent when i get to a resort, that way if they dont have what you want you can always shop around, it may be a bit cheaper to book online but you still may not get what you asked for

Got my own boots four years ago and some skis a year ago..

    Enjoy your skiing !!

Cheers Andy – I'll probably leave it 'till I get there. Normal some deals in connection with the travel company anyway I guess.
