Yep, hanging in there to provide cover for something that most probably isn’t going to happen.

Like a complete dick, I took on an A&E call which turns out to be a problem with the OPT (face x-rays) scanner, which we might normally work round but is likely to be busy tonight so here I am hanging around on the Marie Celeste till it’s fixed.

I’m stuck here til 5pm. Got some tunes on and not done a spot of work all day.

I stayed until the bitter end and beyond trying to get everyone home for christmas who was safe enough to go. Sadly, the ward filled up as soon as we were emptying it.
