    Anybody got any remedies?

Had a cold for well over a week and while it’s reduced to just a few nose blows and a cough now the pain in my sinsus/head is pretty severe now, anyone have anything to recommend? One of my ears still feels like it needs to pop.

I’m abroad so can’t get to a gp, not that I’d really want to for a cold anyway.

A bit of steam should shift it

Do you have tinitus with it, or just the pain and pressure build up? Try a decongestant (phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine), anti-histamines and/or hayfever nasal spray to try to relieve the pressure from your ears / eustachian tubes. If you have tinitus as well, go and see a pharmacist.

I have a Sudafed nasal spray from the chemist – works wonders. You’ll have to ask for it though.

I’ve had the same recently and a nasal spray did wonders but the mrs had similar and has been to see the doc and she has an infection in a bone in the ear so has been given some amoxycillin for 10 days.
