Hi all planning a few days in kent in couple of weeks time wanting to take in the Isle of Sheppy staying just outside Margate. Anyone know of any good singletrack riding or other routes worth a look I have noticed a rather large area called Kent Downs which looks promising.

Rather long way to Sheppy from Margate.
Fair bit of singletrack in Thornden woods, Clowes woods and Church Woods, situated between Canterbury and Herne Bay/Whitstable.
Also some good stuff in Covert woods to the south of Canterbury.

This is all providing it hasn't all been trashed by tree felling..

I will give it a go may not get to sheppy then still leaves more time to ride.

Can't say I've heard that before. or do you mean Isle of Thanet?
Should be plenty on North Downs, although most all of my riding around there was on road-bike.
