Ben a’an? Amazing how many people went there after JB did the film, most of it is way, way too steep for yer average ‘joe’

Just type that in the search box above it’s not the definitive best singletrack in Scotland but it’s a bloody goodsstart and will save you some of that decade matt reckoned you’d need. On the other hand what a brilliant decade that could be……

Perhaps if your idea of perfect singletrack includes bog fest hike-a-bikes where you ride up all the best descents.

Ben A’ah? Good luck finding that.

    Some good uns:

    Coire Lair
Beinn Macdui to the Hutcheson Hut.
    Coire Mhic Fhearchair
Devil’s Staircase to the Ciaran Path.

Ben Aan is eroded as hell. Just walk up it.

It would be a 5 minute descent at the most and a lot of carrying/Trials . Unless you are Danny Macaskill standard.

Better more sensible access can be found in other places.

just did devils staircase >> ciaran last weekend.

thought it was fantastic, although others in the group didn’t like it. seems a bit marmite but i really enjoyed it.
