    Recommendations for cheap singlespeed chain? The singlespeed specific chains appear to be 1/8 rather than 3/32 – do they run fine oin standard sprockets?

    (it's for a tandem synch chain, but I figure singlespeed chain is what I want).

    I was recommended this kmc chain which has been excellent.

    1/8 works fine on narrower sprockets

    x2 for KMC BMX chain. Has the added benefit that you can get half links if you want to go for the ultra clean look

    sram PC-1 is what i use and last for ages if cleaned and oiled regularily
