After a few missed turns in my sportiffs lately I am looking for one of the above.
Really after something simple to use and set up.
Basically just want to download maps for these sportiffs and not get lost!
A few computer functions are ok but not much else.
Don’t know if I need the full maps as such but just to download routes would be ideal.
My mate swears by his Garmin 800 but I fancy the 500 as it looks smaller and neater, simpler?
    What’s peoples experience’s?
    Thanx,
    Max

I’ve been looking at the Dakota 20 for similar reasons.

The Edges are great and much more bike focused, but carry bike premiums also…

500 does not do turn by turn or Nav just a line to follow. The 800- now 810 is a great but of Kit but it’s a complete solution for training, nav and all the rest hence the price. I like mine but I use it for a lot more than just Nav. It will however do you turn by turn navigation of a route you download.
