  • Silly Question? (MTB/Road bike pedal thread compatability)

I’m thinking of buying a road bike from a colleague and it has Look pedals on it at the moment. To save messing around with the cleats on my shoes, can I attach a pair of Shimano SPD pedals on it for a test ride? I think it has Shimano Tiagra cranks on it..
Apologies if this is a silly question I just seem to remember reading somewhere that road cranks and MTB cranks had different pedal thread diameters…??

That’s a yes, to they fit right on. I asked the same question in the bike shop and they went on no probs at home.
