    I have both and find the Reba’s are not far of the SIDS in smoothness but a bit more lardy.

    There’s very little in it other than weight. They are pretty much identical inside.
    Merlin are your best bet if you want new.

    I mulled getting SIDS for a 29er build, went with Reba from Merlin with 15mm bolt thru for £360. Taken me a while to figure out how to set them up properly and get all the travel out of them but very happy with them.

    Whichever you get the best deal on, new sids are just as stiff as rebas.
