There’s a long, cold, wet winter in front of us and I’m looking at a pair of these gloves primarily for the hundreds of road miles that I’ll be racking up over the period.
Anyone got any experiences of using these gloves? Hard shell or Softshell? Sizing? Need for liners too?
    Cheers.

    Me

    Softshell

Bought off the back of the stw review

    Don’t, they’re crap

Not warm, not water resistant for long and the inner seams dig in to my thumbs

Glacier gloves perfect curves. Your hands will stink, and be very sweaty, but they will be warm, very warm.

You need stw glove layering.. Sealskinz that don’t work, rubber gloves, neoprene gloves and maybe a layer of sailing gloves on top.

Bought a pair also off Singletrack review.
Mine were the cheaper ones, think windproof not waterproof.
Found them very good and warm.
Used them in pouring rain with no probs.
Too hot too wear at the moment, sweating hands in them the other day!
    Thanx,

Johnny, just get the £4 Aldi Lobsters…

No idea if they’re any good, but worth a punt IMHO.
