By the fab Oliver Coats:

Bought 'cos it was my first ever Downhill race.

EDIT: Oops, missed the "purchased" bit!
Good pic JoJo......check out the concentration
Are you still Dh'ing?

ooooh, the concentration!
just purchased a 3 peaks pic today but don't know how to post pics
Alek, I did the Megavalanche in the summer which is semi DH, and would have done some of the SDA's if I'd been able to get an entry. It's so much more expensive than XC though...

btw i wouldnt think of buying it...
Struggling with some poor weather, on the Bealach Beag last May (Bealach na ba mini-challenge)

'nother one from the excellent mr coats

I buy the odd one or two, if they're half-decent or if I've had a really good day. I don't take any pictures myself really, and it's nice to have a few to give an account of what it is I do with my time.
Oliver Coats is indeed a good photographer. Dont think much of his fish supper delivery skills though.
Impressed with your third one Superstar_opponents
Rob - I was there too with an identical look, half way up the Bealach
(decided not to buy for some reason!!!)
bought:

taken by my dad on my second run:

and another pic taken by an amateur photographer at the race:

(in anonymous all-black days before the team strip arrived...)
Keep meaning to buy this one. I think I won a Prime in this race...
"pic taken by an amateur photographer at the race"
that looks far better than the bought one personally
^ totally agree.
With a few exception, most of the ones "bought" on here are appalling.
Oliver Coats has some pretty impressive photos on his site too, but again the ones bought are terrible. Take for example the original photo posted by the OP: what's in focus/sharp in that?! His elbow?!
Why on earth you people are buying some of these photos is completely beyond me: surely the memories are better than some half hearted photo, prob taken using a remote on a set position.
JD's photos are however, all, fantastic.
That's a bit harsh V83 - a slightly blurry photo can bring back the memories whilst not being technically perfect..... Wouldn't offer them for sale myself, but I'm a perfectionist
Just out of interest, how much are you chaps paying for, say, an A4 print, and do you buy them on the day or afterwards?

Paid for...

Not paid for (from someone off here, sorry can't remember who it was!)
Bought for me for my birthday, by a mate who also does the CVMBC
