Not a great photo but planning on riding this mostly. Unless it very icy, in which case I’ll be riding a 26in inbred as that’s the bike I”ve got studded tyres for and I’m too much of a tight arse to spend £70 per tyre on 29er ones.

I’ve gained this as a backup.

Looks fun, if there’s no ice forecast I’ll not fit ice tyres to it and have a play on it.

It must be light – the tyres don’t touch the floor!

Well, why have ice tyres when you can hover above the slippy stuff?

It’s going to be slippy. Rest assured.

The only thing the various weather forecasts seem to agree on, is that it isn’t going to pour with rain for 24hrs. I’ll take that.

Epicycles bike looks like an ICANBIKES set up.. Very nice..

In Top Gear style we have a fatbike as a lurker in case any of the riders totals their bike…

Sorry, don’t have my usual transport so don’t have time this year.

But the snow has been bucketing down in Dingwall. Looks promising for the race. 🙂

    So..how does it ride??

Brilliantly, it reminds me of my old Singular Gryphon but better. It’s a definite keeper and I can see me putting a few miles in on it. It’s just really comfy.

Good forecast for those on the Sunday early doors shift… also liking “Gentle Breeze”. Aye, right.

I like the Norwegian forecast. Not so keen on this one:

    (Met Check)

Although part of me does want a tougher ‘Puffer than last year (just a small part 😉
