I sold my previous 456 and regretted it within minutes. This frame was second hand, I had it powder coated and built it up over the winter. It’s solid, honest and pretty – and reminds me of proper mountain bikes when they were (almost) all made of steel. Love it. 😀

Because it suits the kind of riding I do and I enjoy riding it. Im also a recent convert to SS and the frame ticks all the boxes .

It’s green and it’s bouncy… Had it for four years now, which is the longest I have ever kept a bike!

another 456.. cos it seemd like the best value frame available.. a bit of a triggers broom.. this photo isn’t very recent but it’s the most accurate representation of the current configuration that I could find..
It does exactly what it says on the tin and hasn’t disappointed me once yet..

And here’s my other bike. Dunno if I’d say I love it but it’s good for fitness rides. Gets more use than my mtb as we don’t have much interesting off road but loads of nice quiet flattish country roads.

Now that the trails are dry, it’s the most fun I can have without killing myself, even more than my hardtail.

Because it makes me wonder why I have two mountain bikes and a road bike, when this does it all.

Because it has grown with me into the bike I always wanted…

It’s better than i can ride, but this is where it likes to be…

This is the favourite at the moment, because it’s the one I’ve been riding almost everytime I’ve been out recently.

Love it ‘cos it’s orange and I’ve got it back 😛

I still reserve the right to whinge about the lack of travel skill compensation (in fact negotiations are underway for something, er, bigger to fall off on the d/h track) but Gibson ain’t going anywhere this time.

Just a really great bike to ride. If I’m not riding it I get withdrawal symptoms.

Because, it’s light, handles great and I can ride a long way and climb lots, fast…
