2unfit2ride - Member[quote]Very different at the moment, I probably change the bits 3 or 4 times a year depending on where I'm mainly riding, though TBH I prefer fettling to riding really
I'm glad I'm not the only one riding slicks off road
Here's one being given some....
Commencal
Flame VIP Ti
entire bike bought seperately and built up from parts all off ebay or similar
First two pics at top of Whinstone Lee Tor - Ladybower today (3rd Jan)

No washed & polished pics from me, just a well used Cotic Soda & Dialled Bikes Morning Glory, love em both.

thumbie - the vit-T felt pretty flat to me (cf with other Ti frames and my memories of my old P7). The Dekerf is pretty similar geometry but feels much livelier (if that makes any sense?!)
here's mine

Well, ti post and bolts and ti bolt in the seat clamp. That's about as much as I can afford right now.

Not mine, unfortunately (although I own the black Bonty race, just behind). Ridden by Tangent, sometimes of this parish, until one of the stays... cracked.
Lovely bike.
Here's one of mine being made.
What's the FS Voodoochild? Looking very nice! A titanium Jekyll!
Thanx Max

Interesting - thanks for the response.
I compared the 2008 Prestige against the Vit-T (having been brought up on a Clockwork circa 1989/90) & the Prestige certainly has a much more responsive feel. Vit-T had no complaints on a long day out though.
Wouldn't mind going for a spin on the R8 now with the slightly less slack head angle & 853 tubes.
Cheers
Now i know how to post pics, heres mine.Old photo though, been a few changes since.

@Turnerfan1, It's a 1996 voodoo canzo ti.
I modified it some years ago with some disc tabs and put in a manitou spv damper to give it a new lease of life. It's replaced by an ST4 2 years ago but couldn't part from the frameset yet. I rode it for 12 years so got kinda attatched to it.
Australian Cotic.

Show us your titanium [coloured] loveliness
Here she is again, dirty girl on the trail!

Is that massive front tyre really hard work on a ride?
I'm guessing you run it at a very low pressure to soak up the bumps.
@ LeeW - that's really nice. any idea what it weighs in at

Retro83, 24lbs with summer tyres on. I'm sure it could go on a diet but I have the finesse of a drunk hippo.

No, it rolls realy well & yes at just under 10psi (normal pressure) it gives at least 3" of travel

Schwalbe published study - fat and low roll with least resistance

My DEAN Custom Colonel.
Geometry specced to be pretty similar to my original 93 Clockwork (and coincidentally almost identical to their new R8). It's absolutely brill on tight singletrack and I have an Alfine hubbed wheel that can be slipped in and wired up in 15 minutes when required.
My DEAN again, now I've read the instructions on how to insert pics....
EDIT....But for some reason it's still not working. Can anyone tell me why?
Well that didn't work. You're on your own I'm afraid.
