Fractionally lower - the seat matches the height to the top of the stem, but the rise of the bars puts the 'grip' level slightly above the seat height.

how does that climb?

It climbs very well!
I do wind down to 110mm (which sticks the back end right up in the air!) for the seriously steep stuff & sometimes I'll wind down to 120mm on the prolonged climbs, but not always.
If I could afford to change the forks though I would definitely be going for the 2011 Talas 32 FIT RLC (2 Position - 120mm & 150mm version) - giving me a bit more for the more serious downhill, but keeping the 120mm which I use most of the time when climbing (I could live without the 110mmm).

I'm riding a bog standard factory set-up Heckler from 2010 and it rides like a dream. Revelation fork and assorted bits n bobs from Truvativ. Will look to pimp it over time but needed something a little harder hitting for those bits of Wales that needed extra travel (Yeti ASR was too little and Cove Stiffee was too Stiffee for an all day out session). So it sits in the garage waiting for those days when I need that little extra travel which, overall, inspires confidence and huge grins when you clear things that you would not normally get over/down/through/etc. Took me ages to decide which bike to get in this area of travel but the price/brand/ride all make sense so definitely gets my thumbs up. Sorry - no pics though......

i've got an old style small one. Pikes and DHX5 coil, FR wheels and DH bars 50mm stem etc on mine. Love it.

Good to see some on here with coil shocks, they're well suited to them IMO.

This bike is something like 7 years old now (was one of the first heckler's in the UK) and still going strong!
