This is Ermintrude, she’s still sitting in the garage although doesn’t get outas much now as she’s so much heavier than my Five, with exactly the same amount of travel!

Just looking at Mildred’s (above), I think we must have very similar aged Patriots? I think Ermintrude is around 2001/2

Got no pics of mine, but I’ve been riding Patriots for 10+ years – now on a 2008 with Double Barrel and 55s. Superb bike – fun to ride, easy to get on with, does everything and the frame/pivot never needs fixing or servicing. If it ever breaks I’ll get another Patriot or an Alpine 160.

Think I might have the oldest? Patriot LT 2000 (well, frame + swingarm have 1999 stamped on them… dont think Patriot ’99 had LT version…)

Frame is at the powder coaters, getting a fresh lick of paint 🙂

Get one of the newer style “66” variants if you are going to get one. They seem far better.

My 2005 Patriot 66. Its been a great bike and I was seriously considering upgrading to the new model.
