Went downhilling in France this year, not got a photo available, but it’s Flat pedals, the gravity dropper in the down position and 2.5 Michelin Comp 16’s fitted.

Yep, was fine, wasn’t DH bike fast on open bumpy stuff but didn’t have massive problems keeping up either, faster through the tight tech stuff too. 🙂

Once I figure out how to share flikr pics from an iPhone I’ll show you my burlyish setup.

33lbs – sunline v1, slx crankset, lyrik coils, fox van rc, stans flows, DH tubes in minions.

Would need heavier tyres for full DH and move to 1×9 with chainguide.

It’s fine for my speed but if you want to gnarl to the max then the head angle maybe a bit steep. That’s what I find anyway.

No one has thought about off set bushings to slacken the head angle off for uplift etc?

    The battleship.

Strange geometry with long toptube, short stays and slacker than average. Coil lyriks, vanilla RC. No idea what it weights but probably 32-33ish lbs.

Now with 1×10 gearing. It rules.
