Thought I'd already posted in this thread a while back... turns out I hadn't so here it is:

and yes 6 months on the seatpost is looking pretty battered, on the look out for a cheap adjustable one.

Can't believe I haven't posted here...

XC-456
The brown looks nice in the flesh, and nicest when clean and shiny. Which it rarely is.
mines built but has 2 guises a 69er commuter:

But I also have some All mountain 3 forks with a normal wheel for the rough stuff
I'll post mine once my bars arrive, flat bars, no spacers, dropped stem, shorter than average 130mm forks, feels like I'm riding a big slack BMX with wide bars and looks bizzare but handles soooooooooooooooooooo right!
Must try to get pics of mine and my bros tonight.

Nice, i've just ordered one on the CTW
get in, cant wait, very inspiring pics...
GaVgAs
Nice, looks unique.
Thanks Poppa,Sold the frame a while ago though,It was a bit too springy for me, and I couldent get on with it,shame really it was a lovely bike

Sadly ridden very little as prefer custom SS, so now up for sale

My mate rides one single speed with a renthal MX bar and a VERY short rigid fork.. It IS to all intents and purposes a giant BMX.. looks rad.. I'll post a pic over the next day or two..

Clarksons BMX
Here's my 18" 456.

Mine which is a bit of a mixed bag of parts that I threw together as it is only a hack bike for my increasingly rare visits to the island.

In XC mode !
Hi can anyone tell me what these like with a 120mm fork on or do they need more?

Finally sussed out what the actual colour of the current 'strong blue' 456 is - it's Bluebell Blue! This was mine this morning, half past six, must have been at least 20degrees. Fan-blooming-tastic.
Oh; the-milkybar-kid - mine's got 100mm Rebas SL's on and it's fine. One of these days* (ahem - only been saying that since day one) - I'll get round to stretching them to 120mm as always planned. I suspect it will only improve it and for XC riding, is probably the perfect option - having played around with my 100 - 130mm Revs from the full susser before.
in ss mode ..
Not the best pic but here is mine.
Building up a Lemon Meringue Summer season over the weekend, 140mm Floats, 10 Speed XT

and at the top

you get points if you know where the last one is. Ed, not you! you know.

My 'Stealth Bomber'
First 456C pictured?
Early testing days. Reba Team 120mm forks with Hope headset which includes a 10mm depth bottom race to put the geometry out to 130mm.
Feels good so far-quick and sturdy. And yes, I know the saddles brown!

Well there was already a pic of mine (and others) on another thread but here's one from today...
Very late to the party, but here's my 456. Built with mainly stuff off the old bike, but new wheels already planned. 1st ride yesterday, quite impressed.
Late to the tread. but new frame with mostly old parts.

Just to keep the thread going a little longer, my carbon 456 just built up using the bits from the steel 456

I had some chainsuck issues with the middleburn rings, so i'm not taking any chances with a homemade chainsuck plate thingy
