So the 24″ bike that I’m building up with The Boy is bright green, and I mentioned maybe we should have purple pedals to make it look awesome.

I was only half serious, but it turns out he thinks this is a great idea. I’m now thinking:

* Green frame
* Purple pedals, stem top cap
* Everything else black

Anyone got a green-with-purple-bits bike that looks awesome? Or is it actually disgusting? Inspire me!

If you look up the hope academy bikes, the 24′ has a green frame and can be specced with purple bits. Looks really good I think.

My lad will kill me if he sees that first one, he is 6’1” now and quicker than me.
He did love this bike though and that meant he wanted to ride it.

The Hope Academy bikes have unavailable to mortals 135mm Hope cranks on! They’d probably retail at the same price as a full bike from most shops…
