Here’s my Roadrat – it’s an Alfine rather than singlespeed.

Currently fitting swish new Hylex brakes, have some natty purple grip tape to match the frame waiting to go on.

I can confirm that 40mm tyres are a MAX fitment on the Escapade (on the rear), certainly if planning to ride in muddy conditions.

Watching with interest and envy. Having moved away from Surrey Hills I need an Escapade 😉
