Again, not massively impressive, but Ayer's Rock at Laggan looks near vertical when you approach the edge.
I'm such a wimp Postierich!! Although I don't recall that bit at all!

On a 456 on the Ranger's Path. A couple of hundred metres further up the trail we were surrounded by that cloud and then just dropped out of it
