My rigid has a pretty big tyre in it, that works.

Not like this now though, has a USE SUB on the front. Rode very nicely with rigids, but my wrists didn’t like it!

I have a salsa dos niner and it’s sublime.
I often run the forks locked out at 20mm travel. This combined with the rear 25mm makes for a really nice micro sus bike. Takes out all the small buzz but leaves the big stuff for you to “man” over.

I treated myself to a Van Nich Ti seat post for my Ti29er the other day.

Why oh why did I wait so long to do it!? It’s sublime. Turns the bike into a virtual softail. Nicely damped too – doesnt want to pitch you off. Ive had cheap Al alloy posts, thomsons, carbon fibre, none of them compare.

Depends, a mate at Uni had a trek sofftail, there was at least 3″ of side-toside play in the back end too … quite unnerving following him down a techy descent, as the bike flexed its way round the rocks …

Ye! 1 inch is your lot, but with the Salsa, they tell you to inflate around 120 lbs which then only gives you half of an inch!

1.5″ (and touch more with a Cane Creek shock) on my Global and 1″ on the Dekerf. I’d have thought anymore and the b/b-stays would come undone 😕
