And this
I’m thinking of doing a few classic bike track days this year & I’m wondering whether to get the FZ out there or buy a YZF750 or TRX850 for a bit of fun.
These are my two previous ones, I’m a bit poorer after a divorce so don’t have any motorbikes just now, just an MX5.
The itch for a wee VFR400 is strong though
My first bike, a little Yamaha single
Good bike but not great on the motorway!
The GSXR that replaced the Yamaha
Unfortunately….
Then I bought my Buell
Great bike if a little hard to get parts and spanner on so:
I do OK, i’ve toured Europe, ridden at Spa, Jerez, Portimao, i’ve raced a 916, GSXR-750 for 2 seasons, i’ve done over 100 trackdays, i think i’ve earned my stripes 🙂

Here’s mine taken a few minutes ago outside my house. It’s a 2012 ER6n. Perfect for commuting into Vienna as I can park it wherever I want for free. That small snow covered peak you see is Schneeberg in the Austrian Alps.
Been riding since 1981. Done sportsbikes, done supernakeds, loved them all, but these days I’ve gone full Luddite and both my bikes are air cooled. The highest tech is the ABS on the Beemer.
Do it, they are such great fun bikes, small and chuckable with endless possibilities for upgrades if you like fettling, also classic insurance and cheap tax.
I also have a fireblade, but the nc30 is a bike I can honestly never see me selling.
Now it’s all pedal power in my garage but here are my two my previous motorcycles.
