    The best way to get over it would be to go out and ride it, and be glad you’re bike is back up and working!

    Just avoid the cafe at the trail centre and maybe cover the bike on the roof rack, to save any embarrassment of mismatched rear end and forks. Or buy new forks.

    I can kinda see your point OP- however I actually think it’d look better with a black back end. Plus its brand new. A 3.5yr old front triangle etc would start to look worn.

    Why not powdercoat the front triangle? It can be done for circa £35 easily.

    TBH you can’t blame the importer- they can only hold so many they tend to buy or do a deal on a batch of spare parts)- as with any importer. After its been on sale for so long I’m surprised they had any left.
