I know there’s a good chance of getting away with it on shimano brakes but anyone got any tips or experience with hope brakes. I actually don’t need to shorten the hose but do need to run the hose internally on a new frame. Thank you.

    remove the pads,
    squeeze the lever,
    cut the hose, reattach
    push the pistons back
    refit the pads.

all of the above should be done with your fingers crossed.

assume a full bleed for avid juicys!

I’d be prepared to bleed if I was you ( definitely more susceptible to air ingress than Shimanos)
Bleeding is a breeze on them though, no special tools/syringes required.
