    Hi,

A friend of mine is looking for some air forks, around 100mm travel and with disc tabs and 1.1/8 steerer.

Has anyone got any specific recommendations for someone who is…
    -below 55kg
-easy on equipment, no big drops, etc

I’ve suggested older 28mm SIDs, but I’m not sure what else is out there.

If anyone has any experiences, or even something at the right price, i’d love to hear it.

    Cheers,
    Rich

Older (or newer) SIDs. DT XCRs, Manitou R7s, Fox F-Series.

I’d get the SIDs, if they’re still doing ‘proper’ riding (in the least patronising way) I’d still get the newer ones, they’ll still see the stiffness benefits.

Look for second hand forks if your budget is £150.

Or look at RS Toras. My girlfreind has the 85mm coil Toras on her Rockhopper and they are perfect for a light rider. Very smooth feel too.
