    I’ve got a 2 hour pass.

    10:00 – 10:10 meet outside Cookson’s Bicycle Temple in Whitefield.

    Head off up towards Affetside and maybe on to Hoddleston if time allows, so 20 or 30 miles.

    Pace – As fast as I can go, so mediumish.

    Hills – Some.

    Cake – No time for that.

    Lol…wot NO cake..? How very disapointing…tho if there was cake…..why do people always go for carrot cake

    Carrot cake was great during the war when there was rationing.

    Cake should be made of cake ingredients, not vegetables.

    Carrots should be in Shepherds pie, not in sweet things.
