Just looking for a dropper for the kid ..
Needs to be short in terms of insertion length and also 100mm and 30.9 and externally routed (though that should help on insertion length).

Measuring up he can get 120mm from the top of the seatpost to the base of the saddle clamp but obviously a dropper has the extra 10-20mm above the saddle clamp.

He also needs to be able to push it down with his 25kg’s or its a bit pointless so a Reverb is well out of the question.

Have a look at the Giant Contact!
    That covers most bases!
    Mines been ultra reliable!
    Thanks,
    Max

The KS Lev looks good (as in reduced @ £250) ….
I know he can’t compress my Reverb (at least sat on my bike) so don’t want to risk £250 on something that possibly won’t work with his weight.

Specialized do the externally-routed Command Post Blacklite in a 75mm drop version, and you can adjust the air spring pressure.

Can he compress the reverb with less air pressure in it?

TBH not actually tried… I just let some pressure out and the minimum is about 220 psi for it to return …

I can try that in the morning but it doesn’t feel significantly easier than at 250 psi
