Living in Aus, now is a great time to buy product from the US. I am in the market for forks, possibly Magura Menja or Fox Talas. Has anyone got any recommendations for US online bike stores?

    Thanks

I have used http://www.jensonUSA.com however I am in the UK, and at the time got things shipped to USA as I had a friend there who I was visiting.

I am in Switzerland, but have used JensonUSA a fair bit. Always incredibly fast, great price and normally have the stuff I really want (freak 29er clown bike rider so a bit harder to get the parts in Europe).

I can’t comment on your importing expereince in Oz, but as an online store they are as good as CRC IMHO.

    Another thumbs up for JensonsUSA.

another vote for jenson for mail order. Have recently had an EC70 bar and EC70 post from them for less than they go for used here (£40 and £25 respectively when I got them), also got an Easton Vice stem for $12 (about 8 quid?). Insanely quick shipping, quite cool to use their tracking facility and watch your fork fly around the world.

http://www.pricepoint.com is another mail order giant, http://www.speedgoat.com are a decent “LBS” with a good mail order and occasional deals. http://www.performancebike.com is a national chain with mail order wing, a bit like Evans Cycles but with better service 🙄

edit; according to speedgoat site Fox bans US retailers from selling their products abroad. Dont know if other outfits obey that rule.
