Some of the verses in the Koran are an incitement to hatred in the same way as the verses in Leviticus but moderate Muslims don’t live by them any more than moderate Christians.

The problem lies with those who use religion as a means to build a power base that they then abuse. Call it Islam, Christianity, communism, fascism, national socialism, Scientology or whatever you want.
